This week you will be receiving an envelope from Allstate. The BRS first teamed up with Allstate in 2015, creating a group policy to divest the sum that was frozen from the old BRS Health and Welfare Fund. The plan in place for members who were active as of December 31, 2015 is a Group Accident Plan ( On or Off the Job Accident Insurance). This is for an individual and does not include coverage for spouse or children.

All Active Local 56 Members hired 1/1/16 and later are now able to purchase this same policy through Allstate Benefits

ALL members regardless of hire date can purchase
